The name Staudt.

The coat of arms in our logo is the family crest of Staudt. This coat of arms is officially documented in the Rietstap Armorial General. The Staudt family has always been characterized by enterprising and eccentricity. It is traditionally a German name, whose origins go back to the 16th century.

Friedrich Staudt

Balloonist, ventriloquist and inventor.

Friedrich Staudt (1809-1876) was a remarkable adventurer who was one of the first Dutch balloonists to travel through the Netherlands and Germany to show off his impressive hot air balloon. In addition, Friedrich had acquired a patent with his invention: a special stamping ink, which he sold from his factory in The Netherlands. All stamps were engraved by hand.
